Tampa Homegrown

Homegrown New Music Ensemble takes as its special mission the advocating and popularization of music written by composers of the Tampa Bay area. Formed in Tampa, FL, the ensemble stays in close relation with its artistic community. The Tampa Homegrown concert series feature works of composers, such as Paul Lewis, Baljinder Sekhon, Marisa DiPronio, Logan Barrett, Michael Standard, Matthew Kennedy, Tom Kersey, Bj Davis, Tyler Kline, Blake Harrison-Lane, and many more.

Women in Music

The concert series is dedicated to the promotion of music written by outstanding female composers from the past and present. In the framework of this project Homegrown New Music Ensemble advocates for the diversification of concert programs by performing existing compositions and commissioning original works by living female composers.

The special topic project Women in Music is initiated and curated by Dr. Albina Khaliapova.
